Baby Blaire is Here!

Our sweet Baby Blaire was born on Friday, January 8th, at 4:10pm!
I'm pretty sure it was the coldest day so far this winter but she couldn't have come at a better time. We got to the hospital at 7am and they were ready to go...they broke my water about 8:15am and then got me started on Pitocin right after that. It may seem like 4pm is a long time later but I actually progressed pretty quickly once things got moving. She was really ready to come into the world because I pushed for maybe 10 minutes at the most and she was here! My sweet friend and neighbor, Camie, is one of the head nurses on the Mother/Baby unit at the hospital so she not only got us fantastic care for before and after the delivery but she came up just for us to be Blaire's nurse right after delivery. We are beyond blessed by our sweet Blaire already! She is perfect in every way. She is healthy as can be...weighed 8 lbs and 3 ounces and was 20 inches long. She is a great eater and sleeper so far so that is fantastic...soooo different from Noah! :) Enjoy the pictures and there will be more soon!

I'm checking out her sweet face

Our little Noah insisted on wearing his new OU football helmet to the hospital that Pop brought him. All of the grandparents were so helpful and they all came with gifts! Noah was not too sure what this baby was going to be like but I'm pretty sure he enjoyed his time away from his parents! :)

Hi Blaire!

Noah making himself cozy on my bed with the "mote"

Camie and her daughter, Madison, came up to visit on Saturday

Things had to get back to normal pretty quickly for Noah and Nate wearing his helmet is just hilarious. Football tackling was in full effect when we got home!

Noah and Blaire...this is basically what she did the whole time he yelled and tackled.
She is so sweet!

  1. Blaire makes such sweet girly sounds when you hold her, so that means she will be all GIRLY, except for the times Noah recruits her for tackling purposes....!! We had a wonderful time playing with Noah and it melted my heart when Nate called and said Noah was asking "where's Gramma?" !!
