B's First Hospital Visit

Blaire had her first hospital visit and real surgery yesterday.

She got tubes in her ears! YAY!

Here she is in her Looney Tunes gown...

First of all, she has been fighting constant ear infections since July with December and January being the worst months of it all. This lead to absolutely no consistent sleep at night. For the past 2 months, we have both been up 2-4 times each night.

Needless to say, I was super excited for this solution. :)

Everyone told me it was such a quick surgery and that it was really minor but the thought of leaving her to a nurse to take her away all seemed too much. On the bright side, the whole ordeal was WAY LESS dramatic than I expected. No tears on my end and she didn't even seem phased by too much. She went back for surgery at 7:30am and we were on the road heading home at 8:15am.

Woot, woot!

She has been AMAZING ever since...

happy, laughing, climbing, dancing, all the normal things.

I'm hopeful this will help her feel much better.
