Father of the Year

The largest swing set ever built...okay maybe not...but seriously it's huge.
Took Nate approximately 35+ hours of hard labor to build this bad boy.
I held a few boards and drilled in a few things but other than those minor instances, Nate did it all by himself...he was a MANIAC...from sun up to sun down.
We are proud of you Daddy!
Noah loves it already...enjoy the progress pictures.

The base...ain't no thang! :)

Looks so teeny in our big yard...

This is Friday afternoon, got a little wave from Nate...he was still in good spirits.

MAJOR progress!

And we arrive to today, Sunday...this thing is a monster.
Noah has a picnic table, rock wall, 3 swings, monkey bars, a ladder to the fort, and then a look out point on top (not shown now).

Working on the look out tower

Not so teeny anymore in the yard.

Calling all the neighbor kids, this thing holds 9 kids at one time!

Sweet Lord, it's finally done.
This place will be used for sweet memories for many years!
Thanks Pop again for the gift and Nate for building it.
If any of you come to visit, by gosh you are going down the slide. :)

  2. WHOA! First, your back yard is huge! And I am dying at the size of that swing set. For real, that is endless entertainment for a little kid. I might be just a tid bit jealous about all the cool stuff on that set! You've got one patient hubby to work on it that hard and long! We spent 3 hours on our now piddly looking set, and were starting to curse. Yep, 3 hours is all we lasted.

That is unreal! Enjoy Noah and mommy! Job well done Nate, it's incredible!
